Shop Helper / Plumbing Mechanic – Mr. Rooter Plumbing

Mr. Rooter Plumbing is hiring a dependable and hardworking Shop Helper / Plumbing Mechanic to join our growing team. We are looking for someone who is motivated, mechanically inclined, and ready to work in a fast-paced plumbing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist plumbers and technicians with daily shop and field operations
• Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materials
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and work vehicles
• Help with basic plumbing repairs, installations, and drain cleaning
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools
• Pick up parts and supplies as needed
• Support the team with general labor and mechanical tasks
• Assist our Lead Mechanic with repairs and general maintenance

Qualifications

• Mechanical or plumbing experience preferred, but willing to train the right person
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in physically demanding environments
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record preferred
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Basic hand tool knowledge required
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Detail oriented
