Shop Manager/ Supervisor

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced technician in the heavy duty industry. Applicant must have 3 to 5 years experience with Semi truck and trailers. With this job we are looking for an individual who is proficient with semi trucks and trailers who can not only work on the equipment themselves but keep the rest of the employees on task and efficient with their work. Must have Class -A CDL or the ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage shop staff.
• Manage daily operations including inventory control, pricing strategies, and budgeting to optimize profitability.
• Time management to keep the shop moving efficiently as possible.
• Maintain a clean and organized shop environment that reflects Forret Trucking standards.
• Schedule repairs and services to keep the equipment moving with minimal down time.
• Foster a positive team environment through effective communication and motivation of staff.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems.

Experience

• Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a retail or service environment is preferred.
• Strong skills in team management, employee orientation, and supervising staff are essential.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience with budgeting and price management is a plus.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
