Shop Sales Lady – Bakery / Cake Shop

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Provide detailed information about bakery products, including ingredients, flavors, and customization options.
• Handle cake and pastry orders, including pre-orders and custom requests.
• Operate the cash register, manage payments, and issue receipts accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the display counters, shelves, and customer area.
• Restock shelves and display areas with fresh products as needed.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards, including proper handling of baked goods.
• Assist with packing cakes, pastries, and other baked items for takeaway or delivery.
• Work closely with bakers and decorators to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
• Help promote seasonal products and special offers to meet sales targets.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a bakery, cake shop, or similar retail environment.
• Basic knowledge of different types of baked goods, cakes, and ingredients.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Neat appearance and pleasant attitude.
• Ability to stand for long hours and handle light physical tasks.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Skills & Attributes:

• Experience handling cake orders and special event arrangements (e.g. birthdays, weddings).
• Attention to detail in packaging and presentation.
• Friendly, patient, and service-oriented.
