We are seeking highly skilled Shop Welders / Fabricators to join our team in a fast paced fabrication facility. The ideal candidate will possess fabrication and welding experience . As a Shop Welder / Fabricator, you will be responsible for the layout, assembly, and welding of fabricated assemblies. Must have knowledge of fabrication and welding processes for carbon, stainless and aluminum.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate forklift and overhead crane.
• Reading both construction and shop prints.
• Fit, fabricate and weld from drawings.
• Layout beams, columns, stair stringers and structural handrailing.
• MIG and TIG welding of both carbon, stainless and aluminum.
• Perform other duties as assigned or required by supervisor.

Requirements

• Ability to read prints for fabrication and installation.
• Must possess math skills.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, precision tools, and man lifts.
• Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
• Welding MIG and TIG.
• Proficient use of shop equipment such as iron worker, band saws, cutting torch, shear, brake press, etc.
