Shopify Designer and Developer - IMMEDIATE HIRING

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Web Designer and Developer with 3+ years of experience who is passionate about creating exceptional e-commerce websites on Shopify. This role is perfect for a frontend specialist who understands the art of visual hierarchy, pixel-perfect design implementation, and custom functionality that drives conversions. You'll transform designs into high-performing Shopify stores that are both beautiful and functionally robust.​

Key Responsibilities

• ⁠Frontend Excellence: Implement pixel-perfect UI designs with meticulous attention to spacing, hierarchy, typography, and color theory to create visually cohesive experiences​
• ⁠Interactive Features: Develop custom interactions using JavaScript (ES6+) including AJAX carts, dynamic product filters, smart upsells, and seamless checkout enhancements​
• API Integration: Leverage Shopify's Storefront API and AJAX API to build advanced customizations, headless commerce solutions, and third-party integrations​.
• Responsive Design: Create mobile-first, responsive layouts that deliver exceptional user experiences across all devices and screen sizes​.
• ⁠Performance Optimization: Optimize website speed, reduce load times, implement lazy loading, and ensure smooth navigation to maximize conversion rates.​
• ⁠Theme Customization: Modify existing Shopify templates and sections, working with JSON-based theme settings to meet specific business requirements​.
• Testing & Debugging: Conduct thorough cross-browser testing, debug issues using developer tools, and ensure code quality and functionality​

Required Technical Skills

• ⁠Frontend Skills: Ability to translate Figma/Adobe XD designs into pixel-perfect, functional Shopify stores​.
• ⁠HTML5: Clean, semantic markup structure that follows accessibility standards and best practices​.
• ⁠CSS3 / SCSS: Expert-level proficiency in modern layouts (Flexbox, Grid), animations, transitions, and responsive design principles​.
• JavaScript (ES6+): Strong command of modern JavaScript for DOM manipulation, custom interactions, event handling, and asynchronous programming​
• ⁠Working with APIs: Hands-on experience with Storefront API and AJAX API for creating advanced, headless, or hybrid commerce solutions
• Hands-on Platform Expertise: Proven track record of working extensively on both Shopify, including theme customization, plugin/app development, and site maintenance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
