What You Will Do

You will work on real client projects from day one. The day to day involves theme customization in Shopify Liquid. Here is what that looks like in practice:

Building and modifying custom sections and templates inside Shopify themes. Homepage sections. Collection pages. Product detail pages. Landing pages. All of it from Figma mockups or client Loom videos.

Fixing bugs across live stores. Cart issues. Mobile responsiveness problems. Spacing and alignment fixes. Font and color inconsistencies. Sticky elements not behaving correctly on different devices.

Working with metafields and dynamic data. Setting up product specific templates. Implementing countdown timers. Building modular reusable sections that clients can control from the Shopify editor.

Handling multi-storefront setups where the same brand runs different stores for different regions. You will replicate and adapt theme changes across these stores.

Setting up and troubleshooting Klaviyo flows and email templates when needed.

Occasionally converting full page designs from Figma into Shopify Liquid templates.

What We Expect

At least two years of hands on experience with Shopify theme development. You should be comfortable writing Liquid from scratch and not just editing existing code.

Strong understanding of HTML and CSS. You should be able to look at a Figma design and build it pixel close without someone holding your hand through every detail.

Working knowledge of JavaScript. You do not need to be a JavaScript expert but you should be able to write custom scripts for things like sticky headers or cart drawer functionality or conditional logic on product pages.

Familiarity with the Shopify admin. Metafields. Navigation. Theme editor settings. You should understand how section schemas work and how to expose settings to the client.

Ability to work independently. We assign tasks through ClickUp and communicate through Slack. You will get a task with a description or a Loom link and you will be expected to figure out the implementation without constant supervision.

Attention to detail. Our clients are picky about spacing and alignment and font sizes and mobile behavior. You need to care about these things too.

Nice to Have

Experience with Klaviyo email templates and flows. Experience with AB testing implementations on Shopify stores. Experience working with apps like Locksmith or ReCharge. Familiarity with Figma.

Work Setup

Full time remote position. You will work Pakistan hours (Monday through Friday). Communication happens on Slack. Task management is on ClickUp. You will participate in daily standups.
