Shopify Developer (Frontend & Backend | Liquid Expert)

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Shopify Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in Shopify customizations, Liquid templating, and full-stack development, with strong expertise in both frontend and backend development.

You will be responsible for developing, customizing, and optimizing Shopify stores to deliver high-performing, scalable, and user-friendly eCommerce experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Build custom Shopify features and functionalities
• Modify and extend existing Shopify themes
• Develop and integrate Shopify apps and third-party APIs
• Optimize store performance, speed, and SEO
• Implement responsive, mobile-first designs
• Troubleshoot and debug frontend and backend issues
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and other developers
• Maintain clean, scalable, and well-documented code

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Shopify Developer
• Strong expertise in Shopify Liquid
• Proficiency in:
• HTML5
• CSS3 / SCSS
• JavaScript (ES6+)
• jQuery (if applicable)
• Experience with Shopify theme development and customization
• Strong understanding of Shopify APIs (REST / GraphQL)
• Experience with Shopify app integration and custom app development
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git)
• Understanding of eCommerce best practices
• Familiarity with performance optimization techniques
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Shopify Plus
• Knowledge of React or modern JS frameworks
• Experience with headless commerce setups
• Understanding of SEO and CRO principles
• Experience with CI/CD workflows
