About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Shopify E-commerce Specialist to join our growing retail and fashion team.

This role focuses on managing, customizing, optimizing, and improving an existing Shopify store and themes , not building websites from scratch. The ideal candidate should already understand how Shopify works and be able to handle tasks confidently from day one.

You will work closely with the design and marketing teams to improve the online shopping experience, enable new features, optimize performance, and support the daily operation of the e-commerce store.

Key Responsibilities

• Customize and optimize existing Shopify themes and storefront functionalities
• Enable and implement Shopify store features based on business and marketing requirements
• Understand Shopify theme capabilities and recommend the best technical approach for new features
• Modify sections, templates, layouts, and theme settings professionally
• Work with existing Shopify infrastructure without disrupting store performance
• Improve customer experience, navigation, product presentation, and conversion flow
• Handle feature rollouts, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment
• Coordinate with designers to convert approved designs into functional Shopify pages and sections
• Ensure all implemented features are responsive, optimized, and production-ready

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong practical experience working with Shopify themes and storefront customization
• Understanding of Shopify theme architecture, sections, templates, and app integrations
• Ability to identify what features can be achieved natively through Shopify and what requires customization
• Experience enabling and managing advanced Shopify store functionalities
• Good understanding of:
• Shopify theme settings
• Liquid
• HTML/CSS
• Basic JavaScript
• Shopify apps and integrations
• Ability to work confidently within existing Shopify themes instead of relying on trial-and-error development
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Understanding of e-commerce customer experience and retail workflows
• Experience optimizing store speed and performance without affecting functionality

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in retail or fashion e-commerce
• GCC e-commerce or Shopify experience is a plus
• Understanding of SEO basics for Shopify stores
• Experience with Klaviyo, Meta Pixel, Google Analytics, or similar tools is an advantage

Important Notes

• This role is not for someone learning Shopify through trial and error
• Candidates should already understand Shopify workflows and store operations
• Testing is expected as part of daily work, but the role requires confident execution and problem-solving
• Speed, responsibility, and professionalism are essential
• Must have access to a laptop, a stable internet connection, and the ability to work effectively from home.

Pay: Up to E£13,000.00 per month
