Shopify Expert Mobile Apps (E-commerce)

Horizon Tech is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shopify Expert with a focus on Mobile Applications to join our e-commerce team. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in the Shopify platform, including mobile app integrations, custom app development, and UI/UX optimization for mobile-first commerce experiences. You will play a key role in enhancing our mobile commerce strategy, improving conversion rates, and building a seamless omnichannel experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain mobile apps that integrate seamlessly with Shopify storefronts.
• Lead the development and deployment of mobile-first Shopify experiences (iOS/Android).
• Integrate third-party Shopify apps and APIs with mobile applications.
• Optimize Shopify mobile interfaces for performance, speed, and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with design, marketing, and product teams to align mobile UX with brand goals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to app performance, checkout flows, and mobile responsiveness.
• Implement best practices for mobile app security and data protection.
• Analyse user behaviour and metrics to improve mobile user experience and conversion rates.
• Stay updated with Shopify's latest features, Liquid code updates, and mobile app development trends.

Requirements:

• 6-8 years of Proven experience with Shopify Plus and Shopify APIs (Admin, Storefront, etc.).
• Strong experience developing or managing Shopify-integrated mobile apps (native or hybrid).
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Liquid, React Native, Flutter, or other relevant frameworks.
• Experience with mobile app builders for Shopify (e.g., Tapcart, Vajro, Plobal Apps) is a plus.
• Deep understanding of mobile UX/UI design principles and performance optimization.
• Experience with headless commerce setups (e.g., Hydrogen + Oxygen) is an advantage.
• Familiarity with REST/GraphQL APIs, webhooks, and third-party integrations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver on tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Shopify certification(s) or equivalent portfolio demonstrating expertise.
• Experience with e-commerce analytics tools (Google Analytics, Hotjar, Mixpanel, etc.)

Other Details:

• Job Timings: Night shift following US EST (Full Time).
• Office location: Shaheed-E-Millat Road, off to Shahrah-e-Faisal, Karachi.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs150,000.00 per month
