About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Shopify Plus Developer to join our e-commerce team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing high-performing Shopify Plus stores that deliver exceptional user experiences. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, marketers, and product managers to build scalable, conversion-driven e-commerce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify Plus stores, ensuring scalability and high performance.
• Implement custom themes, Liquid templates, and Shopify APIs.
• Integrate third-party apps, plugins, and APIs to enhance functionality.
• Optimize website performance for speed, SEO, and conversion rates.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, provide support, and maintain code quality.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to bring responsive, pixel-perfect designs to life.
• Manage app development and custom functionalities where needed.
• Ensure security best practices and compliance within Shopify Plus standards.
• Stay up to date with Shopify updates, emerging e-commerce trends, and new technologies.

Qualifications & Skills

• Proven experience as a Shopify Plus Developer (4+ years preferred).
• Strong expertise in Shopify Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
• Experience with Shopify APIs (Storefront, Admin, and custom apps).
• Familiarity with headless commerce, React, or Vue.js is a plus.
• Proficient in version control tools (e.g., Git).
• Experience integrating payment gateways, third-party services, and ERP/CRM systems.
• Knowledge of SEO, performance optimization, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple projects.

Preferred

• Experience with Shopify Plus enterprise-level projects.
• Familiarity with modern e-commerce tools such as Klaviyo, Recharge, Bold, Yotpo, or Shogun.
• Understanding of agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
