Shopify & WordPress Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled Shopify & WordPress Developer to work and handle the development, maintenance, and optimization of our e-commerce platforms. This role will be responsible for managing the existing Shopify store while also building and handling new Shopify and WordPress stores from scratch.

The ideal candidate is technically strong, detail-oriented, and performance-driven, with experience delivering stable, high-converting e-commerce experiences aligned with business growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Shopify Store Management

• Maintain, monitor, and support the existing Shopify store
• Identify and resolve theme, UI/UX, and functional issues
• Implement new features, enhancements, and store updates
• Optimize site speed, performance, and user experience
• Troubleshoot and manage Shopify apps and API integrations
• Ensure store stability, security, and best practices compliance

New Store Development

• Create new Shopify stores from scratch (theme setup, customization, configuration)
• Build and manage WordPress websites (including WooCommerce if required)
• Customize themes and develop bespoke functionalities
• Configure payment gateways, shipping rules, taxes, and third-party integrations
• Ensure SEO-friendly structure and technical optimization
• Manage staging, deployment, and ongoing technical maintenance

Requirements

• Proven experience developing and managing Shopify stores
• Strong knowledge of Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
• Experience with Shopify APIs and third-party integrations
• Solid experience with WordPress development (themes, plugins, customizations)
• Understanding of e-commerce UX, CRO, and performance optimization
• Experience improving Core Web Vitals and site speed
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues independently
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

• Experience with headless commerce
• Familiarity with BigCommerce
• Experience with marketplace integrations
• Basic understanding of SEO and analytics tools

Pay: Rs50,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
