Lemurea & Life is a jewelry and lifestyle brand company based in Irvine, California. We are building a brand content system around jewelry, crystal jewelry, daily rituals, California lifestyle, self-connection, gifting, and emotional value.

Our brand is a natural crystal ritual jewelry brand inspired by the California coast. We aim to transform crystals from ordinary decorative pieces or overly mystical objects into daily ritual jewelry — pieces that can be worn, touched, gifted, and used as meaningful reminders in everyday life.

We are currently strengthening our social media content system across Instagram Reels, TikTok, product videos, lifestyle content, paid ad creatives, and daily account operations.

We are looking for someone who can film, edit, style scenes, create beautiful short-form videos, and help operate our brand social media accounts on a daily basis.

Position Overview

We are hiring a full-time Short-form Video Content Creator & Social Media Coordinator.

This role is ideal for someone who has hands-on experience filming and editing short-form videos, understands how to present jewelry beautifully on camera, and is comfortable managing daily social media account tasks.

The main focus of this role is not advanced data analysis. We already have team support for data review and performance reporting. However, we still hope you have basic platform awareness and are willing to adjust content based on feedback and performance results.

You will mainly be responsible for:

• Filming short-form videos for jewelry and lifestyle products;
• Editing Instagram Reels and TikTok videos;
• Building simple but beautiful filming scenes;
• Capturing product details, hand shots, lifestyle moments, and ritual-style content;
• Publishing content on Instagram and TikTok;
• Replying to comments and DMs;
• Supporting the daily operation and growth of our brand social media accounts.

We are looking for someone with a strong visual sense, good execution ability, and an understanding of short-form video platforms.

Key ResponsibilitiesShort-form Video Filming

• Film 9:16 vertical videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and paid social creatives;
• Capture jewelry, crystal jewelry, product details, lifestyle scenes, unboxing moments, styling shots, hand shots, and ritual-based content;
• Use lighting, angles, composition, close-up shots, hand movements, and background styling to highlight the beauty and quality of jewelry;
• Create clean, natural, high-quality visuals that match the brand’s aesthetic;
• Film indoor product content and occasional outdoor lifestyle content when needed.

Video Editing

• Edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other social platforms;
• Add captions, music, transitions, pacing, simple color correction, and platform-specific formatting;
• Create different versions of videos for organic posts and paid ad testing when needed;
• Maintain a clean, polished, and brand-aligned editing style;
• Use tools such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Jianying, or similar editing software.

Scene Styling & Production Support

• Build simple filming scenes for jewelry, crystal jewelry, lifestyle products, and ritual content;
• Assist with product placement, props, background styling, lighting, and camera setup;
• Prepare products before shoots, including cleaning, arranging, organizing, and styling jewelry pieces;
• Help move light filming equipment, props, product displays, and setup materials when needed;
• Support setup and cleanup before and after shoots;
• Keep the filming area clean, organized, and visually consistent.

Social Media Account Operation

• Publish short-form videos, posts, stories, and other content according to the content calendar;
• Write or assist with captions, hashtags, titles, hooks, and basic post copy;
• Reply to Instagram and TikTok comments in a timely and brand-appropriate tone;
• Respond to DMs and help maintain communication with followers, customers, and potential collaborators;
• Monitor notifications, audience questions, common feedback, and daily account activity;
• Help maintain a consistent posting rhythm and improve account engagement.

Content Ideation

• Propose short-form video ideas based on brand tone, jewelry aesthetics, product features, platform trends, holidays, new product launches, and marketing campaigns;
• Help develop video hooks, visual concepts, simple scripts, and content angles;
• Turn brand concepts such as daily rituals, self-connection, emotional value, gifting, and California lifestyle into easy-to-understand video content;
• Create content that feels beautiful, relatable, natural, and brand-aligned rather than overly sales-driven.

Basic Performance Awareness

• Work with the team member responsible for data analysis to review content performance;
• Understand basic performance indicators such as views, watch time, engagement, saves, shares, profile visits, and website clicks;
• Adjust future filming, editing, and posting based on feedback and performance results;
• Bring a practical mindset toward improving content quality and account growth.

Requirements

• Experience in short-form video filming and editing;
• Familiarity with TikTok, Instagram Reels, and short-form video content formats;
• Strong ability to film jewelry, accessories, beauty, lifestyle, or visually detailed products;
• A good eye for lighting, composition, texture, product details, and brand aesthetics;
• Ability to independently complete basic filming, editing, and pre-posting preparation;
• Proficiency in at least one editing tool, such as CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Jianying, or similar tools;
• Ability to build simple filming scenes and style products for camera;
• Comfortable operating social media accounts, including posting content, replying to comments, and responding to DMs;
• Strong execution skills and ability to keep up with regular content production;
• Detail-oriented, organized, responsible, and able to follow brand guidelines;
• Willingness to assist with onsite filming needs, including setting up scenes, moving light filming equipment, organizing props, and supporting outdoor shoots when needed;
• Ability to work full-time onsite in Irvine / Orange County.

Nice to Have

• Experience creating content for jewelry, accessories, beauty, fashion, lifestyle, wellness, or home décor brands;
• Experience managing Instagram or TikTok accounts for a brand;
• Experience filming product close-ups, hand shots, unboxing videos, GRWM content, desk styling, or lifestyle scenes;
• Experience creating UGC-style videos or paid ad creatives;
• Basic photography skills;
• Understanding of women’s lifestyle, self-care, gifting, wellness, or California aesthetic content.
