Job Summary:

Fisher House Foundation seeks a skilled, collaborative, and mission-driven Video Content Producer to support the creation of compelling social-first video content that advances organizational storytelling, brand awareness, and audience engagement.

This full-time, in-office role works closely with the Communications and Digital teams to translate real moments, human stories, and campaign priorities into high-quality short-form video content for platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and Facebook. The ideal candidate is a strong visual storyteller who can both film and edit video efficiently, deliver content on tight timelines for timely social media posting, and contribute creatively to social media strategy.

The Video Content Producer will be responsible for producing social-first video content from concept through delivery, including on-location filming at Fisher House locations nationwide. This role does not require the individual to be an on-camera personality. This position will report to the Director of Digital Media.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Film and edit short-form video content optimized for social media platforms.
• Capture interviews, b-roll, and environmental footage at Fisher House locations and events.
• Collaborate with the digital team to identify story opportunities and execute social media strategy through video content.
• Translate creative briefs, campaign goals, and story outlines into effective video assets.
• Ensure video content aligns with Fisher House brand standards and platform best practices.
• Edit and deliver video content on tight timelines, including same-day or next-day turnaround when needed for timely social media posts
• Manage video production workflows, including basic pre-production planning and post-production editing.
• Adapt video content for multiple platforms, adjusting pace, length, framing, captions, and format to maximize reach and engagement.

• Support additional video needs, including longer-form or special projects, as assigned.
• Actively monitor social media trends, formats, and audience behaviors and creatively assess how they can be authentically adapted to advance Fisher House storytelling and brand awareness.
• Escalate production or scheduling challenges as needed.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Education, Experience & Job Requirements:

Fisher House Foundation seeks a detail-oriented and adaptable video professional with a strong understanding of social media content production.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (video production, communications, marketing, or similar) or equivalent professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience producing and editing short-form video content for social media platforms.
• Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.
• Experience filming with professional or prosumer cameras, mobile devices, and basic audio equipment.
• Understanding of platform-specific formatting, pacing, and delivery requirements.
• Ability to travel frequently, including overnight trips.
• Ability to carry, transport, and set up basic video production equipment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfortable working with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Ability to capture and handle sensitive stories with professionalism, empathy, and discretion.
• Military and VA knowledge – connection and understanding of military & veteran communities – preferred.

Travel:

Frequent travel required; includes overnight trips and occasional nights and weekends.

Schedule:

Regular: Monday – Friday (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Annual Salary Range:

$55,000 - $75,000

Location:

Based in the Rockville, MD office (in-office position with possibility for a hybrid schedule)
