Short-Form Video Editor for Comedy & Car Content

I am looking for a Short-Form Video Editor to help edit content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

This role is focused on car content, comedy videos, parody news-style videos, and random real-life clips. We want someone who understands fast-paced internet humor, strong hooks, captions, pacing, zooms, sound effects, memes, and retention-focused editing.

You should be able to take raw footage and turn it into content that feels native to social media and keeps people watching.

What you’ll do:

• Edit short-form vertical videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
• Create attention-grabbing hooks in the first few seconds
• Add captions, sound effects, zooms, memes, and other edits that improve pacing and retention
• Edit car content, funny real-life clips, parody news videos, and other social content
• Work from raw footage captured on phones, Meta glasses, and other devices
• Match the editing style to the brand, humor, and audience
• Deliver edits in a reasonable time and be open to feedback

Qualifications:

• Experience editing short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, or YouTube Shorts
• Strong understanding of viral pacing, hooks, and social media editing style
• Comfortable editing comedy content, car content, and meme-style videos
• Able to follow direction while also bringing creative ideas
• Reliable, responsive, and consistent
• Portfolio or sample edits preferred

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
