Short-Form Video Editor (Part-Time, Remote)Role Overview

We’re looking for a Short-Form Video Editor who understands what makes people stop scrolling. Your role will be to turn long-form content into high-retention, punchy clips for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

This is a part-time remote role ideal for someone experienced in viral-style editing, strong hooks, and fast-paced storytelling.

Responsibilities

• Edit 2–4 short-form clips per day per client
• Create scroll-stopping hooks within the first 1–3 seconds
• Add captions, on-screen text, B-roll, zoom effects, and sound design
• Edit in Hormozi-style, podcast clip formats, and short-form viral formats
• Use trending viral audio where appropriate
• Follow creative briefs and instructions carefully
• Deliver final edits within 24 hours of receiving raw footage
• Ensure edits are optimized for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year experience in short-form video editing
• A portfolio of TikTok / Reels / Shorts edits (required before interview)
• Proficiency with at least one of the following:
• CapCut
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• DaVinci Resolve
• Strong understanding of:
• Hook psychology
• Viral content formats
• Platform-native editing styles
• Ability to deliver same-day edits consistently during working hours
