We are seeking a highly organized, analytically driven Listing Optimization Specialist to join our dynamic team in our office. In this in-office role, you will be the dedicated expert focused exclusively on creating, analyzing, and enhancing property listings across major short-term rental platforms—including Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO, Marriott Homes & Villas, and others. Your work will directly impact our portfolio's visibility, booking rates, and revenue by leveraging data insights to craft high-performing listings that captivate guests and outperform competitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create Compelling Listings: Develop optimized listings from scratch, including titles, descriptions, pricing strategies, photo selections, and amenity highlights, tailored to each platform's algorithms and audience preferences.
- Analyze Performance Data: Dive deep into metrics such as click-through rates, conversion rates, search rankings, visibility scores, and occupancy trends using platform analytics tools to pinpoint strengths and opportunities.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Implement targeted optimizations based on data-driven recommendations, A/B testing results, and competitive benchmarks to boost listing performance and achieve measurable gains in bookings and inquiries.
- Conduct Competitive Research: Regularly benchmark our listings against top performers in target markets, identifying trends in content, pricing, and visuals to maintain a competitive edge.
- Generate Structured Reports: Produce clear, actionable reports using spreadsheets to summarize performance trends, optimization impacts, and ROI, presented in an organized format for internal stakeholders.
- Stay Ahead of Trends: Monitor platform-specific updates, algorithm changes, and industry best practices to proactively adapt strategies and ensure listings remain optimized.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Data Analytics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in listing management or optimization for short-term rentals; hands-on familiarity with platforms like Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO, or Marriott is highly preferred.
- Exceptional analytical skills with proven expertise in interpreting complex data sets to derive insights and recommendations—experience with A/B testing and performance metrics is essential.
- Meticulous organizational habits and a structured approach to workflows, with the ability to manage multiple listings systematically while maintaining impeccable attention to detail.
- Outstanding written communication skills for creating persuasive, SEO-optimized content that resonates with travelers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for data manipulation, visualization, and reporting; basic knowledge of short-term rental market dynamics is a plus.
- Thrives in a collaborative office environment, with a proactive, results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently on high-impact projects.
