Short Term Rental Manager

Ideal candidate who already have experience in managing short term rental properties and looking to manage another properties as part time on site and flexible with schedule during the week and weekends. The short term rental property will require full time remote work, manage and oversee the coordination of guests, and professional crews involved. Need to be able to attend on site when required.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Short Term Rental Manager to oversee the daily operations of our short-term rental properties. This role involves managing guest relations, coordinating property maintenance, optimizing occupancy rates, and ensuring exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering memorable guest experiences. As a key leader in our team, you will drive operational excellence while fostering a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the entire short-term rental process, including booking management, check-in/check-out procedures, and guest communication to ensure smooth operations.
  • Coordinate cleaning schedules, maintenance requests, and inventory management to maintain high standards of property quality and readiness.
  • Implement effective pricing strategies and promotional campaigns to maximize occupancy and revenue.
  • Manage team members involved in property management, including training staff on customer service, safety protocols, and operational procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure compliance with safety standards and cleanliness expectations.
  • Handle guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and maintain positive relationships to encourage repeat bookings.
  • Maintain accurate records of reservations, payments, expenses, and inventory using bookkeeping and POS (Point of Sale) systems.

Experience

  • Proven experience in property management or hospitality roles with supervisory or managerial responsibilities.
  • Strong background in negotiation, sales management, and customer service within a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively with supervisory experience in retail sales or retail management settings.
  • Skilled in inventory control, purchasing, budgeting, and cash handling to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guest populations better.
  • Experience with administrative tasks such as payroll processing, bookkeeping, and shift management is preferred.
