Showroom Consultant / Customer Success Representative

POSITION OVERVIEW

Dwyer Marble & Stone is seeking a client-focused, detail-oriented professional to join our team in a hybrid role combining Showroom Consulting and Customer Success. This position is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of design, sales, and customer experience.

You will guide clients through material selections in our high-end showroom while also managing customer relationships, orders, and communications to ensure a seamless experience from inspiration to project completion.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Showroom Experience & Client Consultation

  • Welcome clients and create a professional, inviting showroom experience that reflects our commitment to excellence
  • Assist residential and trade clients with stone and tile selections
  • Provide thoughtful design guidance tailored to each client’s project and vision
  • Educate clients on materials including natural stone, quartz, porcelain, and tile
  • Maintain showroom appearance, organization, and merchandising standards

Customer Success & Relationship Management

  • Build strong client relationships through phone, email, and in-person communication
  • Deliver responsive, high-quality service that puts the customer first
  • Understand customer goals and proactively support their project success
  • Educate customers on product offerings, best practices, and new materials

Sales & Order Management

  • Process and manage customer orders with accuracy, urgency, and attention to detail
  • Prepare quotes, follow up on opportunities, and support sales initiatives
  • Track orders from receipt of the order to timely delivery, communicating with the customer throughout the process ensuring their timeline is met.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth and partner with sales to expand business

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner closely with Sales, Warehouse, Logistics, and Marketing teams
  • Ensure seamless communication and execution across departments
  • Maintain accurate customer records in CRM systems
  • Share customer feedback to support continuous improvement and innovation

Additional Responsibilities

  • Participate in showroom events, training, and special projects
  • Stay up to date on product knowledge, inventory, and industry trends

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in interior design (preferred)
  • 3+ years of customer service, retail, or related experience
  • Experience in stone, tile, construction, or design industry (preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Confident, professional, and customer-focused demeanor
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office; CRM experience a plus)
  • Self-motivated with a proactive, team-oriented mindset
