We are looking for a Showroom Manager & Lead Designer to lead our Plainfield showroom with this people-first approach. This role is perfect for a design professional who is a natural communicator, has attention to detail and thrives on being part of a dedicated team.

- How You'll Make an Impact:

* Serve as a Trusted Design Partner: You will be the main point of contact for our clients, listening intently to their needs and expertly guiding them through the design process from concept to completion. Your goal is to build trust and make the remodeling experience enjoyable and clear.

* Collaborate for Flawless Execution: Work closely with our project managers and installation teams, ensuring a seamless flow of communication. Your detailed plans and collaborative spirit will ensure the client’s vision is brought to life accurately.

* Bring Creative Visions to Life: Use your design expertise to develop functional, beautiful, and innovative solutions for kitchens, baths, and other spaces.

* Cultivate a Welcoming Showroom: You will be the curator of our creative space, ensuring it is an organized, inspiring, and welcoming environment for every person who walks through the door.

* Champion a Positive Team Culture: Contribute to an atmosphere of mutual respect and shared success, where every team member feels valued and heard.

- What You'll Bring to the Table:

* Exceptional Communication & Interpersonal Skills: You are a clear, empathetic communicator who excels at listening and building genuine rapport with clients and colleagues.

* A Collaborative Mindset: You enjoy sharing ideas and working as part of a team to achieve the best possible outcome.

* Proven Design Expertise: You have a strong background in kitchen and bath design, with a portfolio to showcase your work.

* Software Proficiency: You're a pro with at least one of the following: Chief Architect, ProKitchen, 2020 Design, Sketchup, KCD, Cabinet Vision, Mozaik, Pro 100, or MVSV.

* A Consultative Approach: You have experience in a role where your success came from understanding customer needs and providing expert advice, not from high-pressure tactics.

* Meticulous Attention to Detail: You take pride in your work and understand the importance of accuracy in design and project management.

- The Good Stuff (Compensation & Benefits):

* Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour (based on experience)

* Status: Full-Time W-2 Employee

* Monday to Friday (rare exceptions on some half Saturdays)
