Showroom Sales Consultant

As a Showroom Sales Consultant with White’s Plumbing Supplies you will help the plumbing industry reach new heights! To do this, you will be a key contact at White’s Plumbing Supplies by increasing sales, market share, company profitability and customer satisfaction by working with architects, builders, designers, homeowners, and plumbers in choosing from a wide variety of our fine fixtures for the kitchen and bath. Our Showroom Consultants provide expert product knowledge, selection assistance and customer service.

Showroom Consultants are trusted partners in the construction process. We are seeking a charismatic team player with a background in luxury sales and customer service. Passion around interior design is preferred, but not required. Our ideal candidate will have great time management skills, be organized, will provide a world class experience to our clients and most importantly, will always have a positive attitude.

This position is 100% on-site (M-F 8:30am-4:30pm & Sat. 9am-2pm)

Responsibilities:

· Work directly with architects, builders, designers, homeowners, and plumbers through the renovation process with design assistance, product selection and purchase of high-end plumbing fixtures and cabinetry.

· Manage all phases of client projects including initial meetings, product specification and selection, providing quotes & pricing, closing sales, and providing after sales support.

· Provide a superior client experience to develop long-term relationships and loyalty with the goal of increasing market share.

· Apply active listening skills; paying attention to what customers are saying, being sure to understand their needs and asking appropriate questions in order to best enhance their purchasing experience

· Continuously expand product knowledge and industry trends in order to best service the customer.

· Maintain a clean and organized showroom appearance.

· Ensure manufacturer catalogs and showroom pricing labels are up to date.

· Other duties and activities as needed to drive sales and grow market share

Qualifications:

· Prior experience in luxury sales, plumbing or home furnishings a plus.

· A passion for design and interior decorating.

· Consultative, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.

· A team player with high level of dedication

· High school diploma or GED required.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds.
• Ability to bend, stoop, and reach.
