Responsibilities

• Engage with customers in the showroom, understanding their needs and offering tailored product recommendations.
• Conduct product demonstrations and explain features related to lighting design, layout options, and renovation solutions.
• Upsell complementary products such as lighting fixtures, hardware, or accessories to enhance sales opportunities.
• Manage inside sales activities, including order processing through POS systems and cash handling procedures.
• Maintain an organized showroom by stocking merchandise, merchandising displays, and ensuring product availability.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries promptly, managing account details, and following up on sales leads.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in outside sales or retail sales environments, preferably within renovation or construction sectors.
• Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clientele.
• Knowledge of lighting sales, interior design, layout design, and remodeling processes.
• Demonstrated negotiation skills and ability to upsell products effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Organizational skills for managing stock levels, merchandising displays, and maintaining showroom presentation.
• Basic math skills for retail math calculations, pricing adjustments, and cash handling accuracy.
• Familiarity with marketing strategies and account management to build lasting customer relationships.
