Showroom Sample Coordinator / Librarian

DRC is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Showroom Sample Coordinator / Librarian in our Costa Mesa showroom. Our staff works as a team, and we share the focus of delivering the utmost service through our daily interactions with our clients, vendors, and internal team members. Job Duties:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Prioritize tasks throughout day while making our clients number one.
Assist clients by checking out samples and ordering samples.
Maintain client sample memos and follow up on items checked out.
Maintain sample library, vendor books and price lists.
Maintain updated information for each vendor
Keep an updated list of all rug samples
Work with vendors to keep library up to date
Making copies and assisting sales associates and clients.
Maintain a clean, highly organized space for our clients to work in.
Maintain literature on library floor, i.e. flyers, magazines, and handouts.
Establish strong and loyal relationships with coworkers and clients.
Provide outstanding customer service to prospective clients, handling their needs and concerns with professionalism, compassion and understanding.
Produce high-quality work

Qualifications:

Possess great planning and organizational skills.
Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
Self-motivated and self-regulated (ability to work “autonomously” and produce results).
Confident personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
Capability to expand quickly into larger responsibilities as the company grows rapidly.
Minimum 1+ years customer support experience (design background preferred)
Detail oriented; strong communication skills; team player
MS Office skills especially word & excel, QuickBooks is a plus
Ability to multi-task and handle consistent workflow

Job Requirements: Oral Communication, Written Communication, Math Aptitude, Organizational skills, Reading and Time Management, Light Lifting up to 15 lbs.

Working hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00-5:00. Some overtime is required.

Physical Requirements: Responsibilities require frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting, grasping, reading, and listening.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20 - 24/hour DOE

Required education: High school or equivalent; design background a plus.
