To oversee the daily operations of the cake and chocolate showroom, ensuring excellent customer service, proper product display and freshness, efficient staff performance, and achievement of sales targets while maintaining brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:1. Showroom Operations:
- Supervise daily showroom activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Ensure proper opening and closing procedures are followed.
- Monitor product display, cleanliness, and overall presentation according to brand standards.
- Ensure product rotation (FIFO) to maintain freshness and minimize wastage.
- Coordinate with the central kitchen for daily product requirements, replenishment, and special orders.
2. Sales & Customer Service:
- Drive sales and meet or exceed monthly targets.
- Ensure staff provide exceptional customer service at all times.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback promptly and professionally.
- Promote new products, seasonal items, and ongoing offers to maximize sales.
3. Staff Supervision & Training:
- Supervise, train, and motivate showroom staff (cashiers, servers, baristas, etc.).
- Prepare staff duty rosters and manage shift schedules.
- Monitor staff grooming, discipline, and adherence to company policies.
- Conduct regular briefings to communicate targets, updates, and service standards.
4. Inventory & Cash Handling:
- Manage daily sales transactions and ensure accurate cash reconciliation.
- Oversee stock levels and coordinate with the purchasing or production team for restocking.
- Ensure accurate recording of wastage, returns, and stock adjustments.
- Conduct monthly inventory checks and report discrepancies.
5. Quality & Hygiene:
- Ensure all products meet quality, hygiene, and presentation standards.
- Maintain proper storage conditions for cakes, chocolates, and other perishables.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards in the showroom.
6. Reporting & Administration:
- Prepare daily sales and performance reports.
- Monitor customer feedback and provide insights to management.
- Support management in implementing marketing and promotional activities.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Business, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a cake, pastry, or chocolate retail outlet.
- Proven experience in retail or F&B supervision.
- Strong knowledge of product handling, display standards, and customer service.
