Siding/Framing Carpenter

FLUXX Remodeling & Design is looking to bring on 1-3 additional carpenters. We are looking for those with carpentry experience, preferably in framing, siding, decks and other carpentry skills. We specialize in high-end siding and framing projects and work with some of Central Oregon's premier builders. We uphold the highest of standards in the industry and are seeking those who genuinely care about their work and want to produce high quality craftsmanship. We are a small Veteran Owned Company (currently 10 people) and all work really well together so we are looking to find someone who can fit into our high moral crew.

Pay varies based on experience but you can expect the following:

***Each new hire will be expected to complete a one-week trial period in order for FLUXX to see where the carpenter should be placed as far as pay. This period is paid!***

$17-$18 / hr = Entry level position. Must know how to read a tape measure, use saws, learn quickly, and be willing to learn and do things the right way.

$19-$21 / hr = Some carpentry experience that is relevant to what we specialize in. Should be able to comprehend tasks given to them with a brief explanation and be able to stay on task and do things the right way. Must show signs of being able to stay busy.

$22-$24 / hr = Understanding our systems, be a team player, work efficiently, be able to work independently. Limited miscuts and redo's.

$25-$27 / hr = Have built trust as a carpenter who can answer question for other team members, Shown that you understand our systems and can keep those around you on task. Highly reduced mistakes / re-working tasks. Show up on time, positive attitude, works hard and maintains quality and efficiency.

$28-$30 / hr = Lead Position: A carpenter who can fully work independently and/or lead a crew through various projects while staying on schedule and accomplishing our mission(s) with high standards regardless of who is working with you. A steep background (typically 3-4 years of solid experience in siding) or framing, decks... Trustworthy, Honest, and always does the right thing.

$30+ / hr = Be able to be given a set of plans for a particular job and know what to do and get the job done in a timely manner while upholding the highest standards OR Introduce a new skillset into FLUXX's Regime while leading others. Must be 100% profecient in your skilled trade and comfortable with working on custom projects that exceed our clients expectations. To get into this pay range you will be asked to show your skillsets on a consistent basis. Also, those who start at FLUXX can work their way to this level rather quickly with the right attention to detail and work ethic.

$40+ / hr = Running a siding or framing crew under FLUXX while upholding our quality standards and doing so consistently under budgets. This is possible through ambition and the willingness to lead others. Must have proven that they have what it takes to lead with a proven track record within FLUXX.
