The Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) is seeking a Sign Fabricator to join the Highways Traffic Supply team in Garden City. If you have strong interpersonal skills and thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment, this could be an excellent career opportunity for you.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for the design, layout, and fabrication of traffic control and informational signs for state highways, as well as for projects within our sign and graphics shop . You’ll help create a wide variety of signs that keep Idaho’s roads safe and clearly marked.
Please note: Sign Fabricators in ITD’s highway sign and graphics shop frequently work around chemicals, fumes, noise, carpentry dust, power tools, and moving machinery . As such, proper safety gear—including goggles, respirators, face shields, and ear protection—is required at all times.
This position requires a valid driver's license.
