Sign Maker/Installer

Duties

• Measure, cut, assemble, and craft signs using various materials such as vinyl, metal, wood, or acrylic
• Operate sign-making equipment including plotters, printers, and cutting machines with precision
• Interpret design specifications and ensure accurate reproduction of client artwork
• Install signs securely on walls, poles, or other structures following safety guidelines and project plans
• Use tools such as drills, levels, ladders, and the Ohmmeter (to check electrical components) effectively during installation
• Conduct quality checks on finished signs to ensure durability and visual appeal
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols at all times

Requirements

• Proven experience in sign making or related craftwork preferred
• Ability to operate sign-making machinery such as plotters and printers efficiently
• Strong understanding of electrical components; familiarity with using an Ohmmeter is a plus
• Excellent measurement skills and attention to detail for precise fabrication and installation
• Ability to work at heights using ladders or scaffolding safely
• Good physical stamina for standing, lifting heavy materials, and performing manual tasks throughout the day
• Clear communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
