Signage and Wayfinding Designer

We are looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Junior to Mid-Level Signage Designer to join our growing team and contribute to impactful projects across diverse sectors.

This role is ideal for a creative designer with a strong foundation in graphic design, typography, and layout, who is eager to develop within the signage and environmental graphics industry.

Role Overview
As a Signage Designer at Brimaxx, you will support the design and development of signage systems from concept through production documentation.
You will collaborate with senior designers, project managers, and production teams to create visually compelling, technically accurate, and brand-aligned signage solutions.

You must have a strong eye for typography, layout composition, and visual hierarchy, with an understanding of how branding translates into physical environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the conceptualization and design development of signage and environmental graphic projects.
• Create clear, visually engaging layouts for signage systems, ensuring consistency in typography, iconography, and branding elements.
• Develop presentation materials and visual mock-ups for client reviews.
• Coordinate with production and technical teams to ensure design intent is maintained during fabrication and installation.
• Support site surveys, revisions, and coordination tasks as required.

Portfolio Requirements

Applicants must submit a portfolio demonstrating:

• Strong typography skills and understanding of font pairing, spacing, and hierarchy.
• Clean, well-structured layout design.
• Graphic design fundamentals including color theory and composition.
• Branding application across physical or environmental formats (preferred).
• Experience in signage, environmental graphics, or spatial design is highly desirable.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
• 2–5 years of professional experience in signage, environmental graphics, or graphic design.
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite especially Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator.
• Understanding of materials and fabrication processes is an advantage.

Bonus Skills (Preferred but not mandatory):

• Experience with 3D software such as SketchUp, Lumion, or 3ds Max.
• Ability to produce basic 3D visualizations or signage mock-ups.
