Job Title: Signage Designer & Technical Draftsman

Salary: AED 3,000 – AED 5,000 per month (Based on experience)
About the Role
We are looking for a Signage Designer with strong technical drawing and branding skills to join our team. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of experience in a signage company, is comfortable moving from concept design to detailed technical drawings and 3D visualizations, and understands how to translate a brand into real-world signage.
You will work closely with our creative and production teams to create designs that are visually compelling, technically accurate, and ready for fabrication.
Key Responsibilities
- Study project briefs and understand brand and signage requirements
- Develop creative concepts for external and internal signages, wayfinding and branding
- Design logos, brand elements, and full branding applications on signage and environments
- Produce technical drawings (shop drawings) for signage, including sizes, materials, fixing details etc.
- Create 3D visualisations / mock-ups to help clients visualise final installations
- Prepare artwork files, production-ready layouts and cutting/printing files, Permit drawings as submittals
- Coordinate with Sales Team/ project managers and production teams to ensure designs are practical and buildable
- Revise and update designs based on client and internal feedback
- Ensure all designs are consistent with brand guidelines and meet quality standards
Requirements
- Must have 2–3 years of experience working in a signage company (mandatory)
- Proven experience in signage design, technical drawings and branding
- Strong portfolio showing:
- Signage concepts and branding applications
- Technical/shop drawings for signage
- Logos and brand identities
- 3D renderings/visualisations (interior or exterior)
- Proficiency in design and drafting software such as:
- Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign
- AutoCAD / CorelDRAW / or similar for technical drawings
- 3D software (e.g. 3ds Max, SketchUp, or similar) is a strong plus
- Good understanding of materials, fabrication methods and fixing details for signage
- Strong sense of typography, layout, colour and brand consistency
- Ability to work under deadlines, manage multiple projects, and follow structured workflows
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
