Provides comprehensive administrative, operational, and technical support to ensure the efficient daily functioning of simulation-based education activities. This role supports faculty, simulation staff, students, and external partners by coordinating scheduling, managing documentation, maintaining records, assisting with program logistics, and working within the web-based simulation center management platform.
1. Provide administrative support to the Simulation Center Director and simulation staff.
2. Coordinate scheduling of simulation sessions, classrooms, and equipment across multiple healthcare programs in the LearningSpace platform.
3. Maintain calendars, meeting minutes, correspondence, and official documentation.
4. Prepare reports, forms, and accreditation-related documentation as needed.
5. Upload, organize, and archive simulation recordings and performance data in LearningSpace.
6. Maintain confidentiality and secure storage of student performance records.
7. Generate reports from a web-based simulation center management platform for faculty review and program assessment.
8. Support preparation and reset of simulation spaces as directed.
9. Provide basic troubleshooting support for LearningSpace access and documentation issues.
10. Maintain accurate records to support accreditation standards and institutional reporting requirements.
11. Track usage data, participation metrics, and equipment inventory.
12. Ensure documentation aligns with institutional policies and FERPA guidelines.
13. Provide clerical support for committees, special projects, and task forces.
14. Speak and participate in scenarios as a standardized participant when needed.
15. Assist with moulage requirements for scenarios and events.
16. Other duties as assigned.
Requires High School diploma or GED
At least two years experience with Microsoft Office
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Worker Characteristics:
Working Conditions:
Typical office environment; infrequently lifting and carrying items up to 10 lbs.; infrequently twisting or bending at the waist or reaching overhead; infrequently traveling between buildings on campus or to other campuses; frequently listening to and talking with students, faculty and other staff members either in person or by telephone; frequently sitting at a desk or workstation using a computer display, keyboard, and mouse.
