bout the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and technically proficient Simulation Engineer – Structure to join our Engineering Solutions team. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in FEA and a hands-on approach to solving real-world mechanical problems using Ansys Mechanical and related simulation tools.
As part of our pre- and post-sales support function, you will work closely with customers to understand their requirements, provide technical solutions, and contribute to the success of simulation-driven engineering across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support & Consulting
Provide expert-level support for Ansys Mechanical, including linear and nonlinear static, dynamic, and thermal analyses, Rigid Body dynamics.
Pre and Post processing including Geoemetry clean-up, Meshing, Boundary condition and results.
Troubleshoot and guide customers on issues related to model setup, meshing, convergence, and result interpretation.
Support custom workflows involving material modelling, contact behaviour, and sub-modelling.
Simulation Projects
Develop and validate FEA models to solve engineering challenges across industries.
Apply knowledge of other solvers such as Abaqus or Nastran if needed.

Educational Qualifications:
M.Tech/MS in Applied Mechanics, Machine Design, or related mechanical disciplines preferred.
B.Tech/B.E. with minimum 2 years of hands-on FEA experience will also be considered.
Required Skills & Experience:
Technical Proficiency
Hands-on experience with Ansys Mechanical (Workbench).
Solid understanding of FEA theory: contacts, meshing, material modelling, and large deformation analysis.
Familiarity with APDL, Abaqus, Nastran, or other solvers is a plus.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work directly with customers and explain complex topics in simple terms.
Team-oriented with a consultative approach to technical problem-solving.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strength and Durability analysis
Experience with automation, parametric optimization, or simulation data processing.
Exposure to CAD tools and integration (SpaceClaim, SolidWorks, Creo, etc.).
Understanding of HPC usage in simulation.
