Sindhi and Maths Teacher

Job Purpose:

The Sindhi & Mathematics Teacher is responsible for teaching both Sindhi language and Mathematics to assigned grade levels in line with the school curriculum. The role focuses on building strong language and communication skills in Sindhi, as well as developing students’ problem-solving and analytical abilities in Mathematics. The teacher will foster an engaging, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment that supports academic excellence and cultural understanding.

Key Responsibilities:

Sindhi Language Teaching

• Teach Sindhi reading, writing, grammar, poetry, and prose as per Karachi Board curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans, activities, and assessments to develop students’ fluency and comprehension.
• Encourage spoken Sindhi practice and promote cultural and linguistic heritage.
• Organize Sindhi debates, storytelling, poetry recitations, and cultural events.
• Assess student performance and prepare them for internal and board examinations.

Mathematics Teaching
6. Deliver Mathematics lessons covering Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Statistics (as per grade level).
7. Simplify complex mathematical concepts through examples, problem-solving activities, and digital tools.
8. Develop practice exercises, worksheets, and tests to assess student progress.
9. Provide additional academic support to students needing extra help.
10. Prepare students for internal and board examinations in Mathematics.

General Responsibilities
11. Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
12. Use modern teaching aids, visual tools, and technology to enhance learning.
13. Collaborate with colleagues for curriculum development and academic planning.
14. Communicate with parents/guardians regarding students’ progress and areas of improvement.
15. Participate in teacher meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Sindhi Language/Literature and/or Mathematics, or Education (B.Ed./M.Ed. preferred).
• Strong command of Sindhi language (spoken and written) and solid subject knowledge in Mathematics.
• Prior teaching experience in Sindhi and/or Mathematics preferred.
• Good classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use digital tools and innovative teaching methods.
