Singapore Math Specialist (Part-Time)

Singapore Math Tutor | Grades K-5

Job Description:

We are seeking a part-time Elementary tutor for students with learning challenges to assist students in the West Orange, NJ area. We are especially interested in educators who can support multiple core subjects including Math and English Language Arts. We need an instructor that has experience and a deep level of understanding of how to effectively teach math using the Singapore math method.

Qualifications:

• Experience – Facilitating of professional learning in math; writing and/or reading is a plus.
• Availability - After school hours and/or weekends (choose your own).
• Motivation – A genuine commitment and desire to share your knowledge.
• Energetic, Friendly, Patient, and Professional.
• Commitment – The commitment to make learning fun & interactive!
• Car – Must have reliable transportation and be willing to tutor in person in West Orange and nearby areas.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
