SIRA Certified Engineer

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure & test multiple ELV systems, including:

• CCTV Surveillance Systems
• Access Control (Biometric, RFID)
• Audio-Visual & Intercom Systems
• Public Address & Background Music (PABGM)
• Structured Cabling & IP Telephony
• Gate Barriers, Sliding/Swing Doors.

Technical Duties:

• Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics & wiring diagrams
• Configure LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi, routers & access points
• Windows OS installation, configuration & troubleshooting
• Install, maintain & troubleshoot network printers and workstations
• Perform preventive maintenance & system health checks
• Diagnose and repair faults in ELV & IT systems
• Maintain accurate project documentation and service reports
• Train clients on system operations and provide technical support
• Ensure compliance with safety rules and regulatory requirements
• Attend emergency service calls as required.

Required Skills & Experience

• 0–2 years of hands-on ELV experience
• Strong knowledge in:
• Networking & troubleshooting
• Crimping, splicing & termination
• Windows installation, backup & data recovery
• CCTV & access control – design to implementation
• Fiber cabling, PA/AV systems, IP telephony, smart TV, digital signage
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Good communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage)
• High attention to detail & strong problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
