Site Based Electrician

Position Description
- Electrical installation and connection of Air Handling Units (AHUs) on site
- Termination of motors, sensors, actuators, control panels, and MCBs
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and GA drawings
- Assisting with commissioning, testing, and fault-finding of AHUs
- Liaising with site managers, mechanical contractors, and commissioning engineers
- Ensuring all work complies with BS7671 (IET Wiring Regulations) and site H&S requirements
- Completing site documentation, test certificates, and reports
- Occasional support at the manufacturing facility for panel testing or build assistance (as required)

Key Responsibilities
- Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- ECS / CSCS card
- Proven experience in site-based electrical work
- Ability to work from drawings and schematics
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Professional attitude with good communication skills
Required Education & Qualifications
- Desirable (but not essential) Skills:
- Previous experience working with AHUs, HVAC systems, or BMS controls
- Commissioning experience
- IPAF / PASMA
- First Aid at Work
- Experience working on commercial or industrial project.
