Job Summary:
We are looking for a Site Coordinator with an engineering background to oversee and coordinate ongoing building/site work. The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between architects, vendors, contractors, and management to ensure smooth execution of the project, timely completion, and quality control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordination & Communication
- Coordinate daily site activities among vendors, contractors, architects, and suppliers.
- Act as the main point of contact between the site and office team.
- Update management regularly with progress reports, challenges, and recommendations.
- Site Supervision
- Oversee ongoing construction/interior/furniture installation work.
- Ensure all activities are executed as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Monitor quality and safety standards at the site.
- Vendor & Material Management
- Coordinate with vendors for delivery schedules, quality checks, and installations.
- Verify and cross-check site measurements for material requirements and billing.
- Assist in negotiating site deals or purchases in coordination with management.
- Architect & Design Coordination
- Work closely with architects/interior designers for design clarifications, layout changes, and implementation details.
- Maintain updated versions of drawings and ensure execution matches design intent.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain site logs, daily progress reports, and material records.
- Prepare and submit periodic project status updates to management.
- Assist in vendor billing verification and BOQ tracking.
- Site Maintenance & Follow-up
- Ensure site cleanliness, organization, and safety compliance.
- Follow up on pending tasks, snag lists, and ensure timely closures.
Skills & Attributes:
- Strong understanding of site execution, measurement, and project coordination.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD (basic level preferred), and project tracking tools.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to multitask and work under minimal supervision.
Added Advantage:
- Prior experience in construction, interiors, or furniture industry.
- Knowledge of vendor management and BOQ verification.
- Understanding of basic electrical, plumbing, and finishing works.
