Site Electrical Construction Supervision Lead

We are looking for Site Electrical Construction Supervision Lead who will be accountable for providing leadership and oversight of all electrical construction supervision activities on site.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Organizes and leads Worley electrical and construction supervision team to help delivery of effectively and technically developed project that meets the contract and standards' requirements, local and international codes, timeline and budget.
  • Represents Worley at internal & external meetings on the project.
  • Ensures Worley electrical construction supervision systems and procedures are developed and rolled out for the project and work is performed in accordance with the internal processes and standards.
  • Coordinates effectively with other project personnel.
  • Responsible for ensuring that no technical changes are implemented without prior approval as per EPC contract procedure and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensures that the Worley electrical construction supervision team and any third party subcontractors adhere to the overall project execution plan and project quality plan.
  • Reviews work procedures or method statements, safety and hazard assessments.
  • Monitors and ensures construction and testing of NPP’s electrical and associated systems; develops comments pertaining to non-compliance with design.
  • Reviews, comments and prepares drafts of client correspondence pertaining to electrical construction.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or higher.
  • Strong construction oversight skills.
  • 10+ years of NPP construction supervision experience including management of multi-cultural teams.

Special Job Requirements

  • Ability to analyze, communicate, influence and persuade.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential, understanding of Russian is a plus.
  • Organized and disciplined, capable of planning, scheduling and controlling tasks and events .
  • Strong leadership skills, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Awareness of project estimates and budgets.
