Job Title: Site Electrical Junior Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Electrical Drawing Interpretation
• Read and interpret electrical layout plans, schematics, and technical documentation for proper execution on-site.
• Technical Knowledge
• Demonstrate working knowledge of electrical components and systems including:
• Transformers
• Armoured Cables
• LT Panels
• DG Sets & UPS Systems
• Batteries
• APFC Panels
• Concealed Wiring & Accessories
• Cable Laying & Termination
• Earthing Systems
• Electrical Safety Standards
• On-Site Electrical Supervision
• Monitor and guide the electrical contractor’s work, ensuring compliance with design specifications, timelines, and safety protocols.
• Electrical Calculations
• Perform basic load calculations, cable sizing, and other essential electrical computations for site applications.
• Quality Control & Verification
• Verify electrical works executed by contractors match the approved drawings and quality standards.
• Site Coordination
• Act as a key link between electricians, labor contractors, civil engineers, and project managers to ensure seamless workflow and timely progress.
• Ensure Continuous Power Supply
• Oversee temporary and permanent power arrangements at the site to avoid power disruptions during project execution.
• Inventory & Material Management
• Maintain accurate records of electrical materials in stock; raise timely requisitions to prevent shortages and ensure smooth site operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
• 1–3 years of experience in site-based electrical engineering roles
• Proficiency in reading electrical drawings and performing basic design checks
• Understanding of local electrical codes and safety standards
• Good communication and team coordination skills
