Site Engineer

• Oversee daily site activities related to road and highway works (earthworks, subgrade, GSB, WMM, DBM, BC, etc.).
• Ensure works are carried out as per approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards.
• Monitor usage of materials and ensure proper workmanship.
• Assist in preparing daily/weekly work programs.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers for smooth progress of work.
• Report progress, delays, and issues to the Project Manager.
• Implement and monitor quality control measures for road construction works.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and statutory requirements at the site.
• Conduct inspections, tests, and maintain quality records (field density, material test reports, etc.).
• Interpret drawings, BOQ, and technical specifications for execution.
• Prepare daily site reports, measurements, and work progress documentation.
• Assist in billing, measurements, and quantity calculations.
• Identify technical/site issues and propose solutions in coordination with seniors.
• Ensure timely resolution of site-related challenges.
