Site Engineer

The Site Engineer will act on behalf of the client to supervise, monitor, and report on the contractor’s activities for the new office fit-out project. The role ensures that works are executed according to approved designs, specifications, quality standards, and sustainability certifications (LEED Gold and WELL).


Key Responsibilities:


1. Site Supervision & Inspections

  • Conduct daily site inspections for civil, MEP, and finishing works.
  • Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and project standards.
  • Verify material submittals and raise Non-Compliance Reports (NCRs) when necessary.
  • Witness and verify testing & commissioning (T&C) of all MEP systems.
  • Oversee snagging and de-snagging activities before project handover.

2. Progress Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track contractor progress daily and report delays or risks.
  • Submit daily site reports and weekly progress reports (including photos, highlights, and challenges).
  • Review and provide comments on contractor’s reports (weekly and monthly).
  • Coordinate with contractors for timely submission of reports per client requirements.

3. Quality & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to LEED Gold and WELL certification requirements.
  • Monitor contractor compliance with HSE standards and report violations.
  • Support documentation related to sustainability certifications.

4. Financial & Administrative Support

  • Review and validate contractor monthly claims and invoices.
  • Provide recommendations for approval or rejection of claims.
  • Assist the client in contract administration related to site progress and deliverables.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
  • 5–7 years of site supervision experience, preferably in office fit-out projects.
  • Strong knowledge of Civil and MEP works.
  • Experience with LEED and WELL certified projects preferred.
  • Proficiency in reporting, snagging/de-snagging, and reviewing contractor documentation.
  • Candidates must be physically available in the UAE for face-to-face client interviews and project meetings.
  • UAE experience is an added advantage.
