To oversee and manage the day-to-day site activities, ensure timely execution of work as per approved drawings, quality standards, and safety norms, and coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Execution & Monitoring
- Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities.
- Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings, technical specifications, and quality standards.
- Monitor daily progress and ensure the timely completion of scheduled tasks.
- Quality Control
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures on site.
- Coordinate with the QC team to ensure timely checks and approvals.
- Ensure rectification of any defects or deviations from specifications.
- Planning & Coordination
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and MEP teams to resolve technical issues.
- Plan and allocate work to site supervisors and labor teams.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain site records including daily progress reports, material logs, manpower reports, and inspection records.
- Prepare reports on work progress and submit to the Project Manager.
- Maintain proper documentation for inspections and approvals.
- Safety & Compliance
- Ensure implementation of health and safety protocols on site.
- Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings for site staff.
- Ensure all statutory and regulatory compliances related to construction.
- Resource Management
- Monitor and manage the usage of materials, tools, and labor to prevent wastage.
- Raise material requirements in advance and coordinate with the procurement team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering.
- 1–3 years of experience in residential, commercial, or mixed-use real estate construction.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project management tools, and quality/safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project tracking software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience with high-rise or luxury residential projects.
- Exposure to modern construction practices and techniques.
