Purchase Engineer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Purchase Executive with a technical background (preferably in Electrical, Mechanical, or Electronics) to manage procurement activities, vendor coordination, and inventory control. The ideal candidate should have experience in sourcing technical components, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery for projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, and select vendors for technical products and services.
• Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Issue purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement records.
• Understand technical specifications of electrical/mechanical components.
• Coordinate with the technical/R&D team to finalize product requirements.
• Ensure purchased materials meet quality and compliance standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new suppliers.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in purchase/procurement roles, preferably in a technical or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of technical drawings/specifications.
• Good negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
