Job Title: Modular Interior Site Engineer
Location: Chennai
Experience: 2-5 years in modular furniture or interior design execution
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Execution:
• Oversee site activities for modular interior projects.
• Develop and implement project timelines to ensure on-time delivery.
• Installation Supervision:
• Coordinate the installation of modular furniture, cabinets, and other fixtures.
• Ensure quality control and adherence to design specifications.
• Team Coordination:
• Manage and guide on-site labor teams.
• Liaise with the factory team to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Technical Oversight:
• Read and interpret technical drawings and ensure accurate execution.
• Inspect and approve work as per company standards.
• Communication:
• Serve as the primary point of contact between clients, contractors, and the internal team.
• Provide regular project updates to stakeholders.
• Compliance & Safety:
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and legal requirements on site.
• Resolve on-site challenges or escalations promptly.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or related fields.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in modular furniture or interior project execution.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in reading AutoCAD drawings and layouts.
• Knowledge of modular furniture manufacturing and installation processes.
• Soft Skills:
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Additional Requirements:
• Willingness to travel to project sites.
• Knowledge of tools and machinery like edge banding machines, boring machines, etc., is a plus.
