Site Engineer

The Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising and executing day-to-day activities at the road construction site in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and work methodologies. The role involves conducting regular site inspections, ensuring proper levels, measurements, and alignment for all roadwork stages including subgrade, GSB, WMM, DBM, and BC. The engineer must maintain accurate measurement records, daily progress reports, and assist in quantity calculations for billing.

Effective coordination with subcontractors, suppliers, machinery operators, and the internal project team is essential to ensure timely progress of work. The engineer will also be responsible for monitoring material usage, verifying delivery quantities, and maintaining proper inventory at the site to avoid shortages or wastage.

Ensuring strict adherence to quality standards and safety protocols is a key responsibility, including checking workmanship, conducting routine quality tests, and ensuring proper traffic and work-zone safety arrangements for the team. The engineer must identify site challenges, raise technical issues proactively, and support the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, and execution.

Overall, the Site Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring that work progresses smoothly, efficiently, and in compliance with technical, quality, and safety requirements throughout the duration of the project.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
