Site Engineer

Job Description: Site Engineer Position: Site Engineer Department:* Projects / Construction Location:* Dubai Reports To: Project Manager / Construction Manager Role Overview:

The Site Engineer is responsible for supervising day-to-day site activities, ensuring all work is executed as per approved drawings, project specifications, safety standards, and schedule. The role requires coordination with subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure smooth project progress.

Key Responsibilities:1. Site Supervision

• Oversee and manage daily site operations to ensure work is executed as per project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Monitor work quality, progress, and overall site productivity.

2. Coordination

• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal departments for smooth workflow.
• Liaise with consultants/clients for inspections, approvals, and site queries.
• Attend daily coordination and progress meetings.

3. Technical Execution

• Review drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and IFC documents before execution.
• Raise RFIs (Requests for Information) if design discrepancies or clarifications are needed.
• Ensure any site changes are documented and approved.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare daily site reports, progress updates, and manpower/ equipment logs.
• Maintain all project-related documents, including inspection requests and work checklists.
• Monitor project schedule and report delays or issues to the Project Manager.

5. Quality Control

• Ensure work is carried out in accordance with quality standards and project QA/QC requirements.
• Coordinate with QA/QC team for inspections and closure of NCRs, if any.

6. Health & Safety Compliance

• Ensure all site activities adhere to safety protocols and company HSE policies.
• Report unsafe acts, prepare site safety observations, and ensure corrective actions are taken.
• Coordinate with HSE Engineer to maintain a safe working environment.

7. Material & Resource Management

• Verify material deliveries and ensure materials used are as per approved specifications.
• Track material consumption and raise requests as needed.
• Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machinery, and equipment on site.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (as applicable to role).
• Minimum 3–6 years of site-based experience in construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and site execution.
• Experience in high-rise, infrastructure, industrial, or MEP projects is preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong site supervision and coordination skills.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, and standards.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage.

Additional Requirements (Optional Add-ons):

• UAE experience preferred.
• Familiarity with local authority regulations (DM, DEWA, DCD, etc.).
• Valid UAE driving license.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
