Site Engineer

• Supervise daily on-site activities for structural and non-structural works.
• Review and interpret shop drawings, drawings approvals, and project specifications.
• Raise Work Inspection Requests (WIR) and Material Inspection Requests (MIR) for approval before execution.
• Ensure that materials and workmanship meet quality standards and project requirements.
• Coordinate with the senior draftsman, QA/QC team, and project managers for smooth workflow.
• Monitor site progress and report any deviations, delays, or issues.
• Ensure proper documentation of all inspections, approvals, and site activities.
• Provide technical guidance to the site team and subcontractors.
• Ensure safety compliance and enforce site safety regulations.
• Strong knowledge of structural and non-structural fabrication processes.
• Familiarity with shop drawings, site documentation, and inspection procedures.
• Ability to raise and track WIRs and MIRs.
• Understanding of relevant codes, standards, and safety procedures.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or related engineering field.

Ideal Candidate:

• Should have practical exposure in raising WIR and MIR.
• Must be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working closely with draftsmen, QA/QC, and project managers.
• Must be from the same field (metal fabrication, structural engineering, or similar).
• Minimum 3–5 years of site engineering experience in fabrication or construction projects.
• Experience in structural steel, metal works, or industrial fabrication projects is preferred.

Pay: AED2,800.00 - AED3,000.00 per month
