Site Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Site Engineer (Civil) to manage and oversee construction activities at project sites. The ideal candidate will ensure that work is executed as per drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day construction activities at the site
• Ensure work is carried out as per approved drawings, designs, and specifications
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and labor teams
• Monitor project progress and report daily site activities
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards
• Prepare and maintain site records, measurements, and reports
• Coordinate with the planning, procurement, and quality control teams
• Identify and resolve site-related technical issues
• Assist in material planning and inventory management
• Support project engineers and project managers in execution and reporting

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (or Diploma in Civil Engineering)
• Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, and procedures
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and BOQs
• Familiarity with site safety practices and quality standards
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office (Excel, Word), and project documentation
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work on-site and adapt to project requirements

Preferred Skills (Optional):

• Experience in residential/commercial/infrastructure projects
• Knowledge of billing, quantity estimation, and bar bending schedules
• Experience with project management or construction software

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to QAR8,000.00 per month
