Site Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Site Engineer to drive growth and expand our market presence. The ideal candidate be responsible for supervising and executing day-to-day construction activities at the project site. The role ensures that work is carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and safety guidelines within the defined timelines.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Site Execution & Supervision
Supervise daily construction activities at site.
Ensure work is executed as per approved drawings and technical specifications.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors and workers.
Monitor manpower deployment and material usage.
2. Quality Control
Ensure quality standards are maintained at every stage of construction.
Conduct inspections for reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, masonry, plastering, etc.
Maintain quality checklists and records.
Coordinate with consultants for inspections and approvals.
3. Material Management
Check material quality and quantity at site.
Raise material requisitions as per site requirements.
Monitor material consumption to avoid wastage.
4. Measurement & Billing Support
Take site measurements and prepare measurement sheets.
Assist in preparation of running bills (RA bills) for contractors.
Verify subcontractor bills as per executed quantities.
5. Safety Compliance
Ensure adherence to safety standards and site safety procedures.
Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings.
Report unsafe practices to senior management.
6. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain daily progress reports.
Record site instructions and maintain site registers.
Report progress, delays, and issues to Project Manager.

Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
Experience: Minimum 3-4 years of experience in civil construction projects.
Additional Skills:
Knowledge of construction drawings, JMR, Running Bill Abstract and BOQ
Basic knowledge of quantity estimation
Understanding of construction materials and techniques
Problem-solving ability
Good coordination and communication skills
Familiarity with AutoCAD
