Raya Smart Buildings; one of Raya's subsidiaries is hiring a Site Engineer.

What will you do?

• Conduct daily inspections across MEP, Civil, and Architectural scopes; verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, materials, and method statements.
• Track construction progress against the baseline schedule; flag risks, delays, and interface issues early with actionable mitigation suggestions.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal design/RDD to resolve clashes (MEP–Civil–Architecture), RFIs, and shop-drawing discrepancies.
• Prepare structured site reports (daily/weekly), punch lists, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and close-out documentation prior to approvals and payment certifications.
• Enforce site HSE requirements, permits-to-work, and safe method statements; escalate violations and support toolbox talks and corrective actions.
• Witness inspections, material deliveries, and T&C procedures; verify as-built drawings and O&M documentation for handover readiness.

What will you need?

• Education: Architecture / Civil Engineering.
• Clear, structured communication.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities under time pressure.
• Collaborative mindset with high ownership, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Stakeholder coordination and meeting facilitation (progress/technical coordination).
• Professional conduct, integrity, and safety-first attitude on site.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems (HVAC, electrical distribution, lighting, fire-fighting, plumbing) and interfaces with structural and architectural works.
• Sound understanding of Civil/Structural works (reinforcement, formwork, concreting, waterproofing, finishes) and Architectural finishes and detailing.
• Proficiency with drawings and documentation: IFC, shop drawings, method statements, ITPs, material submittals, RFIs, NCRs, MIRs, WIRs.
• Ability to use AutoCAD (or similar), MS Office/Excel, and scheduling dashboards (e.g., MS Project or equivalent) for progress tracking and reporting.
• Familiarity with codes/standards relevant to MEP and Civil/Architectural works and quality assurance procedures (inspections, testing, commissioning).
• Basic quantity verification and measurement for progress and payment certifications.
• Experience preparing site reports, punch lists, and supporting testing & commissioning and handover.
