Site Engineer – High-Rise Building Project

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Site Engineer with experience in high-rise building construction to oversee on-site activities, ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, and maintain quality, safety, and project timelines. The candidate will coordinate with various teams and play a key role in day-to-day site operations.

Key Responsibilities

Site Execution

• Supervise daily construction activities on site for high-rise building works.
• Ensure all works are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Monitor site progress and ensure work is completed within project schedules.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, and equipment requirements.

Technical Coordination

• Review shop drawings, IFC drawings, and technical documents before execution.
• Coordinate with Architectural, Structural, and MEP teams to resolve site issues.
• Ensure proper implementation of construction details and specifications.

Quality Control

• Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with project quality standards.
• Monitor workmanship and ensure finishing quality meets required standards.
• Prepare and submit inspection requests (IRs) and coordinate with consultants for approvals.

Site Documentation

• Maintain daily site reports, progress reports, and logs.
• Track material deliveries and ensure proper documentation.
• Assist in preparing as-built drawings and handover documentation.

Health & Safety

• Ensure compliance with HSE policies and procedures on site.
• Identify potential safety risks and report to the HSE team.
• Ensure workers follow safety standards and use proper PPE.

Authority & Consultant Coordination

• Coordinate with consultants and authorities during inspections.
• Ensure works comply with Dubai Municipality and other authority requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering.
• Minimum 3–7 years of experience in building construction projects.
• Experience in high-rise building projects in UAE/GCC is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in:
• AutoCAD
• MS Office (Excel, Word)
• Good understanding of:
• Construction drawings and specifications
• Site execution processes
• QA/QC procedures

Preferred Requirements

• UAE driving license (preferred)
• Experience working with main contractors or subcontractors
• Familiarity with UAE construction standards and authority procedures
