We are looking for a proactive and technically strong Site Engineer to support our sales, procurement, and operations teams.

Role Overview

The Site Engineer will play a critical role in streamlining the sales-to-execution process. This includes visiting client sites, assessing project requirements, preparing accurate quotations, and supporting the transition of projects into execution. The role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate across multiple departments.

Key ResponsibilitiesSite Assessment & Sales Support

• Attend site visits to assess maintenance and renovation requirements
• Take accurate measurements, photos, and technical notes
• Identify scope of work, materials, and potential challenges
• Provide technical input to the sales team to support client discussions
• Ensure clear understanding of client requirements and expectations

Estimation & Quotation

• Prepare detailed and accurate quotations based on site assessments
• Develop BOQs and cost breakdowns for maintenance and renovation works
• Coordinate with procurement for pricing of materials and subcontractors
• Ensure quotations are competitive while maintaining target margins
• Revise quotations based on client feedback and project changes

Project Handover & Coordination

• Support smooth handover from sales to operations
• Brief project teams with clear scope, drawings, and requirements
• Assist in planning materials, timelines, and manpower needs
• Coordinate with procurement to ensure timely material availability

Execution Support

• Provide technical support to operations during project execution
• Conduct occasional site visits to ensure scope alignment
• Assist in resolving technical issues and scope clarifications
• Support variations, cost adjustments, and change orders

General Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate documentation of site visits, quotations, and project details
• Ensure all work aligns with company standards and UAE regulations
• Continuously improve processes to enhance efficiency and client experience

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)1. Quotation Accuracy & Efficiency

• Quotation turnaround time: ≤ 24–48 hours
• Cost accuracy vs actual project cost: within ±5%
• BOQ accuracy: ≥ 98%

2. Sales Support Performance

• Conversion rate (quotes to confirmed jobs): ≥ 25–35%
• Number of site visits completed: Based on workload
• Client satisfaction during pre-sales stage: ≥ 4.5/5

3. Project Handover Quality

• Clear and complete project handovers: 100% compliance
• Issues due to unclear scope: < 5%

4. Coordination Efficiency

• Response time to internal teams: < 24 hours
• Procurement alignment (material readiness): ≥ 90% on time

5. Cost & Margin Control

• Projects meeting target margin: ≥ 90%
• Minimal pricing errors or missed scope items

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
• 2–5 years of experience in estimation, site engineering, or similar roles
• Experience in maintenance, fit-out, or renovation projects is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and costing
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and prepare BOQs
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities
• Ability to manage multiple site visits and quotations simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic estimation tools

Preferred Qualifications

• UAE experience in maintenance or renovation companies
• Familiarity with local suppliers and pricing in Dubai
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or basic drafting tools
• UAE driving license

Pay: AED5,500.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
